Recorded on aerial photographs taken in the 1945, the eastern camp was identified from its rounded south-west corner-angle and lengths of the adjacent sides; there were faint traces of a gateway in the southern defences. Almost the entire outline was later recorded on A.P.'s taken in 1964.

Almost the entire outline of the western camp was recorded on A.P.'s in the 1940's. There are two gateways visible, each with a tutulus outwork, set in the south and east sides.
