Discovered from the air in 1986, this small signalling station or watch-tower lies on the Gask Ridge beside the Roman road between Bertha and Strageath, just 1 1/3 miles from the similar station discovered the previous year at Huntingtower. The ditch was V-shaped, 6¾ ft. wide and 2¾ ft. deep (2.04 x 0.84 m), backed by a turf rampart which had been deliberately thrown into the ditch after a short period of use.
