This small rectangular camp has three gates visible in its perimeter, all protected by external titulum outworks, positioned in the centre of the shorter south side, and displaced to the north on the longer west and east sides by a ratio of 1:2. The northern defences have not been traced, but probably lay along the edge of the terrace above the River Tweed. The camp faced N.

There are other camps to the south at East Learmouth and to the south-east at Carham. Another camp lies just across the English/Scottish border at Wooden (NT7433) in Borders Region.
