This small camp lies almost 1,000 yards (0.9km) NNE of the Greatchesters fort and about 700 yards NNW of the large camp at Burnhead. Most of its E and S sides are overlain by modern field boundaries but its entire outline may be inferred. There are at least 3 gateways placed centrally in the E, W & N sides, those to the N & W possessing external titulum defences.
