There appears to be a centrally placed gateway with traverse in the short south side, and two similarly defended gates in the west side; these arrangements were presumably mirrored in the fragmentary north and east sides. There is a slight change of alignment in the west side at the south gateway, which must have resulted in a re-entrant angle at the corresponding gateway in the east side. |
