Little is known of this British governor other than the fact that he carried out, or at least started, restoration work at two widely-spaced forts in the north of England, the work on the granaries at Corstopitum (Corbridge, Northumberland) was actually completed by his successor Alfenus Senecio, assuming the last two lines of the dedicatory inscription (RIB 1151) have been correctly restored.
