The Roman-Britain.ORG WebSite is constantly being revised. This index shows which pages have been updated or added to R.B.O. over the preceeding quarterly period, also what to expect in the near future. Updates are implemented most weekends.

First of all, my apologies to all who have received no reply to their E-Mail queries. Although I have responded to every E-Mail I have read, I am continually being inundated with unsolicited spammy mailshots and it is very likely that I may have missed several genuine E-Mails whilst clearing out the trash. To combat this I have upgraded the coding on all pages in RBO which contain "MailTo:" links; most of these changes will be invisible to users of the WebSite aside from the new "form-driven" Mail page.
I must also apologize for the lack of any visible updates to RBO, primarily due to the pressures of setting up a new business in archaeological geophysics which should be up-and-running in the very near future. This does not mean that I have been neglecting development of the WebSite, however, as there have been over 300 pages either updated or inserted since my last communiqué.

The incorporation of new web technologies has always been a priority, and extended use of XML and its related languages is planned in the development of the WebSite, along with more Romano-British VRML and X3D models, also a dedicated internet reference page containing links to every online resource used in the development of WWW.Roman-Britain.ORG.
Projects currently on the RBO drawing board include pages on the Roman road system in Britain, a section dedicated to the Roman settlement of Britain and the emergence of the Romano-British economy, which will contain dedicated pages on many of the villas, potteries, mines, quarries, salt-workings and other industrial centres. A full review of the RBO "Lynx" pages should also materialise, along with the long-awaited pages on the Caledonian tribes, but unfortunately, due to pressure of work, the RBO "Kids Section" has been shelved again - sorry!
