This small triangular fort has 3 banks and ditches on the E but only a single bank, ditch and counterscarp on the W. The entrances lie on the NW and SE. Outside the NW entrance is a large mound, 6m high which is probably a round barrow of the Bronze age, but when excavated was found to contain Roman coins and a Saxon burial.
